Australia’s Hannah Green claimed a one-shot victory at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore as Leona Maguire had to settle for a tie for 41st.

Maguire endured her worst round at the tournament on Sunday as the Cavan native carded a three-over 75.

That left her on level par overall after all four rounds at the Sentosa Golf Club course.

Meanwhile, Green edged to victory on 14 under after a final-round 69 to pip USA’s Auston Kim, who finished with a five-under 67.

The trio of Angel Yin, joint overnight leader Min-Jee Lee and Pauline Bouchard were tied for third on 11 under, while Hae-Ran Ryu took sole possession of sixth on 10 under.
