The Milanese design and architecture scene welcomes a new entity: OPS Team. Founded by Dino Cicchetti, Carlo Formisano, Rei Morozumi, and Simone Scarano, the studio positions itself as a multidisciplinary practice dedicated to architecture, interiors, and design. The four professionals hail from Novembre Studio, with Cicchetti and Formisano bringing two decades of shared experience, having contributed to the management and creative direction of significant international projects. This consolidated expertise is now channeled into a new venture.

Architect Carlo Formisano articulated the vision underpinning this initiative: “We believe that the dominant aesthetic personalisms of the 2000s, from fashion to architecture, have exhausted their drive. Today, creativity is no longer an isolated gesture, but a system that integrates with design at all scales. OPS Team is born from this vision.”

The studio is built upon the convergence of complementary skills and a shared perspective: to develop contemporary and innovative projects capable of engaging with the present without losing connection to the rich history of Italian and Milanese design. This tradition is understood not only as cultural heritage but as an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

OPS Team distinguishes itself through a transversal and integrated approach, inheriting the tradition of the Politecnico di Milano, which merges architecture, interior design, and product design into a single creative process. Formal research, rooted in post-modernist principles, is accompanied by a keen attention to context, material selection, and the narrative dimension of each project. The objective is to construct spatial experiences that are coherent, immediately recognizable, and built to last.

With the establishment of OPS Team, Cicchetti, Formisano, Morozumi, and Scarano embark on a new phase of their professional journey. A phase oriented towards collaboration, continuous experimentation, and the enhancement of project quality as a shared and foundational principle.
