Super League disciplinary

A total of 12 Super League players have been charged by disciplinary after their round three exploits.

The round kicked out a couple of eye catching results, with Leeds Rhinos humiliating Hull KR on the biggest of stages in Las Vegas, while Wigan Warriors scored nine tries against Leigh Leopards and York Knights edged out Hull FC.

However, the Match Review Panel has had plenty to look back on this week and 14 charges have now come, with Toulouse Olympique’s Joe Cator being given three charges for his actions against Bradford Bulls. No bans have been handed out, though, with just six fines being applied.

Leeds will be on a high after their win at Allegiant Stadium, but three players have been charged this week, with Danny Levi and Jarrod O’Connor being hit with a Grade A head contact charges, while four try hero Maika Sivo cops a charge for a Grade A late hit on the passer.

Peta Hiku and Sauaso Sue of Hull KR have also picked up disciplinary points for their Grade A offences during the game.

Wigan Warriors pair Brad O’Neill and Junior Nsemba have been charged. The hooker has been hit with a Grade A dangerous contact charge and Nsemba has a Grade B charge of the same offence.

Joe Cator’s charges include Grade A head contact and late contact and Grade B strikes off the ball, but he hasn’t got enough points for a ban. Anthony Marion has also been sanctioned.

Ben Currie has been given three points for a Grade B head contact, while Huddersfield Giants pair Chris Patolo and Jack Billington have got three points for contrary behaviour and late contact on the passer respectively.
