The day-to-day life of a journalist is full of busywork.

Pitching, writing, editing and participating in meetings are just a handful of the duties I have to tend to as a member of a huge editorial team. And I will admit to having moments where I lose focus and grow frustrated with myself for being hampered by the dreaded “Writer’s Block.” Waking up in the morning and setting myself on a path toward completing my writing tasks, making sound decisions and successful multitasking is hard to do daily.
