The family of a 58-year-old man whose death is being investigated by police as a suspected murder have paid tribute to the “proud father-of-four”.
David Rogers, affectionately known as “Disco Dave”, was taken to hospital in a critical condition after emergency services were called to Felindre Road, Pencoed, Bridgend, on 28 February. He died on Monday.
South Wales Police said Liam Walters, 26, of Pencoed, had been charged with murder.
Walters remains remanded in custody and is due to appear at Newport Crown Court on Thursday.
