During today’s Capcom Showcase, it was revealed the upcoming sci-fi puzzle action-adventure Pragmata would be arriving a little earlier than expected.

Instead of 24th April 2026, Hugh and Diana are now arriving on 17th April 2026. Capcom has also shared a new trailer featuring additional gameplay footage and a look at ‘Cabin’ a “one-top companion for all things Shelter”. It’s also mentioned how the Diana amiibo will be releasing soon.

If you want to see Pragmata in action before it arrives on the Switch 2, there’s also a demo you can download from the eShop right now.

Yes! This is my most anticipated game right now, so this is awesome news.

Tomodachi Life btfo’d by Pragmata and Mouse P.I. new release dates

I still think this game looks like The Future Adventures of Big Daddy and Little Sister.

yknow for how much Pragmata was memed on for never coming out in the early-2020s, having one final release date adjustment to have it come out earlier than expected feels so perfect for it ❤

Grumblevolcano

While I’ll still be buying Tomodachi Life day 1 to secure the physical copy, in terms of actually playing games in April I’m definitely prioritizing Pragmata over Tomodachi Life.

@Fizza Forgot it was even announced that long ago!

Fizza

@larryisaman I’m pretty sure it was initially announced before the PS5 had even released 😭

Been a very long road to get to where we are now but after giving the demo a go and loving what I played (even if it was criminally short), I’m thrilled to see Pragmata finally be on the horizon XD

RenanLK

Huh? Did anyone tell Capcom you’re supposed to delay your game, not anticipate it? What else now, you’re gonna release 3 games for the price of 1? Optimize for portable and low-end devices with excellent ports? Preposterous!

Played the demo and now a strong maybe

Shmoo

The demo was super impressive (playing in tabletop mode) I’m hoping performance holds up for the whole release 🤞

PepperMintRex

Super looking forward to this and right on my break too!
