She might have proved the doubters wrong in the first season of her ITV2 reality show The Princess Diaries, but for Princess Andre it’s clear that there are other priorities on her horizon.
The 18-year-old rising media personality seems to be permanently in the spotlight at the moment alongside her brother Junior.
Her mother’s recent whirlwind marriage to businessman Lee Andrews has certainly made some headlines in recent weeks.
This came before Princess claimed that her mum and dad’s feud ‘ruined’ her ITV reality series and left her feeling ‘genuinely’ upset.
However, speaking to Metro and other media ahead of the release of her second series, Princess and her brother made clear that they want to ‘move on with their lives’.
Discussing the success of her first series, Princess begins by saying how shocked she was to see dad’s messaging her saying ‘you’ve inspired my daughter’.

‘Before the show came out, I did get quite a lot of hate towards it,’ she says.
‘Then people watched it and they messaged me after saying “oh my god, I’m so sorry, this was the best thing I watched”. People actually loved it and the amount of people that watched it who I didn’t expect to watch it is what shocked me.
‘There were a lot of different ages, but there was a lot of dad’s who said you’ve actually inspired my daughter and that was quite weird for me because I didn’t expect that. A lot of parents said that it was really good for their kids to watch.’
Asked about her mum and dad’s shock joint statement about ‘moving forward’, Princess says: ‘The good thing is now my mum and dad have come out with an agreement to be fine. So hopefully season 3 they will actually both be in it.’
Princess and Junior will have to stick together on this show
The 18-year-old went on to explain how there are ‘no issues’ between them and it is ‘all calm.’
Junior also adds: ‘We obviously know what goes on behind the scenes, but obviously because there’s a lot of media attention they needed to put it out there.
‘But it’s just great, you know, that we’re really strong as a family and we’re just, um, you know, excited to just get on with our lives.’
Discussing this level of attention that they receive, Junior called it ‘unwanted’ at times.
‘It’s not nice when people have bad things to say especially when it’s to do with your family,’ he says.

‘Everyone wants to just get on with their lives, and being in the public eye means that we get a lot of unwanted attention.
‘This season of Princess Diaries is more from our point of view, and clearing up a few things because there’s a lot of background noise and people just believe anything.’
Agreeing with her brother, Princess also says: ‘A lot of people don’t actually check if something’s true or not.
‘Most of the time it’s not actually accurate information.’
Asked what viewers can expect in this new series, Princess finishes by saying: ‘This whole season is about me being independent, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and doing things that I wouldn’t usually.
‘Honestly, I think people will love it because I’m just living my life as an 18 year old girl and I think that’s what people want to see.’
Despite this, Princess laughs by confessing: ‘I don’t think I’ve had a break though… It’s been non stop!’
With a third season of The Princess Diaries commissioned by ITV, things might just become even busier for the 18-year-old youngster.
The Princess Diaries series 2 comes to ITV2 on March 8.
