Tottenham Hotspur slipped one step closer to playing in the Championship next season following Thursday night’s disastrous 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.
The Eagles came from a goal down to destroy the hosts in 10 first half minutes, following the dismissal of Micky van de Ven after he brought Ismaila Sarr down when he was through on goal.
Spurs supporters and players alike looked crestfallen throughout the clash at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, as the stark reality of the serious situation they find themselves in became clear.
Igor Tudor’s men are now without a win in 11 Premier League matches, with the two teams immediately below them, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest, both in better form.
The north Londoners’ next Premier League match is against Liverpool at Anfield a week on Sunday, with the club’s next match a trip to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Tottenham Considering Robbie Keane Move After Club U-Turn

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham are seriously considering sacking Igor Tudor and replacing him with Robbie Keane.
Spurs brought Tudor in to take them away from the relegation zone, but after three defeats out of three they have arguably got worse following Thomas Frank’s exit last month.
The report says that he is in grave danger of being let go following the latest result against Palace, with Keane emerging as a leading candidate to replace him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham’s initial plan had been to make a short-term appointment to allow them time to find the right long-term option, but according to TEAMtalk they are ready to make a U-turn on that if results don’t improve.
Keane Would be Huge Tudor Upgrade

If Tottenham are looking for a realistic option now who will improve performances and results, there aren’t many better options than Keane.
While out-of-work managers with links to the club, such as Tim Sherwood and Harry Redknapp, will be throwing themselves at the Lewis family to help out, Keane is someone who is thriving in a job right now.
The 45-year-old is currently trying to win back-to-back league titles in Hungary with Ferencvaros, where he has a win record of 61% with the Hungarian champions.
Previously, Keane won 41 of his 56 matches in charge of Maccabi Tel Aviv, showing his credentials as a strong up-and-coming manager.
What favours the Irishman the most is the fact that he knows Tottenham Hotspur and he knows the Premier League, and that experience could prove vital during the run-in.
Spurs fans would get behind Keane as they did during his playing days at White Hart Lane, and if he can get the supporters behind him and the club working together as one, it could make the difference in what could be a tense survival battle.
