Filming for the new Peaky Blinders film was believed to have taken place in the Little Germany area of Bradford in late October and early November in 2024.

At the time, a production team had descended on the area – causing intrigue among locals.

The Telegraph & Argus visited the scene at the time and saw what looked like wartime vehicles and old-fashioned cars, as well as stacks of sandbags and posters from the 1940s.

A letter, from Oblik Productions Ltd, was sent to residents and businesses in the Little Germany area.

While it did not mention Peaky Blinders, the letter stated filming would take place from Wednesday, October 30, 2024, to Friday, November 1, 2024, between 6pm and 4am.

“During our prep and filming hours, the area will be closed to the public, although pedestrian and vehicle access will be maintained for residents and businesses.”

Locations featured on-screen include the Midland Hotel, Undercliffe Cemetery, Little Germany, Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and Lidget Green.

The outside of the now fire-ravaged Dalton Mills was also used for filming during the series.

The programme proved so popular that Peaky Blinders tours around the city were regularly held pre-pandemic.
