Ty Mitchell headlines in Derby tonight as he takes on former world class fighter Gabe Rosado.

Mitchell has established himself as one of the leading fighters competing on the Misfits platform and registered his biggest win to date last time out when he outpointed Sean Hemphill. In Rosado he faces a man who has shared a ring with the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Jaime Munguia, Danny Jacobs and Jermell Charlo.

The rest of the card features influencers and celebrities with two-time Olympic gold medalist Jade Jones making her boxing debut two years after the end of her taekwondo career. And Walid Sharks takes on Argentinian King in a fight which was in doubt until this week due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. Here is everything you need to know about tonight’s fights…

What time will Misfits start tonight?

The card is due to start at around 6pm UK time tonight with the main event getting underway at around 10pm. As ever, fight times can change depending on how long the undercard bouts take to complete. But with most of the undercard fights being just four-round affairs, there is unlikely to be much of a delay.

Ty Mitchell: “I love Derby and I will never leave. We’re a small town but there’s so much talent here, whether its kickboxing, dancing, artists… and I’m happy and proud to bring celebrities and the media to Derby. I’m very proud to be headlining here. He’s has many many fights, h’es very experienced. He can fight on the front foot, back foot, he’s very cunning so we’ve had to have many different sparring partners. I don’t know what version of him while turn up so we have to be prepared for all versions.”

Gabe Rosado : “I’m not taking Ty lightly at all. You can never make a mistake in boxing by taking a guy lightly. I preserve myself, I’m always moving so even when I retired I was still in the gym. I stay active and boxing is a sport which gives you an opportunity to reinvent yourself and that’s what I’m doing right now. I’m going to show a different side of myself. I just have to do what I do. It’s his hometown and the crowd will be crazy but I’m embracing all that.”
