Global air travel remains in turmoil with Manchester Airport flights affected

Passengers travelling through Manchester Airport today are facing disruption after a number of flights have been cancelled due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. As the war in Iran enters its eighth day, global air travel remains in turmoil.

Thousands of flights have been cancelled – including some in Manchester Airport – leaving hundreds of thousands of passengers stranded in the Middle East. More than 140,000 Britons in the region have registered for updates from the UK government.

According to the latest information from Manchester Airport and major airlines, at least eight flights scheduled for Saturday, March 7, have been cancelled. The cancellations affect both arrivals and departures, with a mix of domestic and international routes impacted.
