(nee Woodliff) It is with great sadness to announce that Mavis aged 87 passed away peacefully on 24th February 2026 in the loving arms of her family, whilst in the amazing care of the Grove Care Home, Waltham. A devoted and much loved wife of the late Mac, a deeply loved mum to Gary, Sean and Joanne. A much loved mother-in-law of Lee and Kerry, a dearest sister of Brian and a loving aunty. Mavis was the most treasured grandma of Charlotte and William, a much loved nana of Jake and Megan, and a great-nana of Ollie and Tobias. Mavis was the heart of her family and loved so very much, she will be greatly missed and forever loved by everyone who knew her. A funeral service will be held at 9:30am on Monday 16th March at Grimsby Crematorium. By request no flowers please, donations in memory of Mavis may be made to St. Andrew’s Hospice. (Hotson) Sadly, we announce that on the 11th of February, 2026, surrounded by his family and best friend, Lee passed away peacefully, aged 58 years. Much loved son of Jennie Hotson. Cherished Brother of the late Robert Hotson, the late Peter Hotson, Damian Hotson, and Katie Hotson. Loving uncle, great uncle, adored cousin, and treasured best friend. Lee was a dear friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Lee’s life will take place on 12th March 2026, at 3.45pm at the Grimsby Crematorium. Peacefully at her home in Immingham, Violet aged 62 years. Loving mum of Danny, Susan, Heather, Shannon and James. Nanna of Kaden, Sinead, Caitlyn, Harley, Jack, Holly, James, Owen and Lyle. Suddenly and unexpectedly, on 13th February 2026, Jordan sadly passed away due to an underlying heart condition (known as severe aortic stenosis), aged 29 years. Much loved son of Lisa and Darren, loved brother of Liam and Lewis, brother-in-law to Becca, loving daddy to Max and Theo, loving uncle to Alessia and Olivia, beloved grandson of the late Pat and the late Ron. Jordan was a much loved nephew, cousin, and friend to many with a big heart, he will be dearly missed by us all. (Bob) Sadly, on 12th February 2026, whilst in the care of Ravendale hall care home, Bob passed away aged 88 years. Much loved and devoted husband of Ann, cherished Dad of Lynda and Robert. Loved father-in-law of Stuart and treasured grandad of Jack and partner Kate. Bob was a special friend to many who will be sadly missed. (Billy) Sadly, on 22nd February 2026, whilst in the dedicated care of Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, Billy aged 79 years passed after a short illness, with his family by his side. The devoted husband of Lorraine, beloved step-dad of Angela, Victoria, Jennifer and of the late BJ.
