Nicola Peltz has been brought into thick of it every time it comes to discussions about Brooklyn Beckham’s fall out with his parents and siblings. And so it’s no surprise that she was asked for an update of the family drama while on a promotional tour of her upcoming film Prima.
But determined to not become further involved in the family feud, Nicola decided to swerve the question, bringing it back to speaking about her latest project.
A media outlet in America asked her how she managed to navigate the media attention surrounding her husband’s family feud, she told the Hollywood Reporter: “I’ve been editing my next film [Prima] for the past two and a half weeks. So honestly, I’ve been in the editing room.”

She added: “We haven’t had weekends. We’ve just been trying to make a deadline [for Cannes]. And it’s been so amazing to just put my focus on that and be creative. It’s been really fun doing that, and I’m really excited for it to come out.”

Nicola’s comments come after Brooklyn left the world in shock in January after posting a scathing and candid statement against David and Victoria Beckham.
In his statement he was adamant that he has no intention of reconciling with his parents in person or via social media.
He also alleged that David and Victoria had tried to ruin his relationship with Nicola over the years by re-introducing women from his past into their lives.
But it didn’t end there. The eldest child of the Beckham clan also alleged that his mum danced inappropriately with him at his 2022 Palm Beach wedding, as she attempted to hijack his first dance in front of friends and family.
And according to a few reports at the time, Brooklyn was left humiliated while Nicola was reportedly visibly upset.
Brooklyn started his statement by alleging that his parents have always tried to control him and for the first time he has now been able to speak freely.
His statement read: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
He continued: “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”
He went on to add that weeks before his wedding, his parents had tried to pressure him into signing away the rights to his name.
He continued: “Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. “
He then explained: “They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.”
Despite his requests for no contact, David and Victoria still reached out to him to wish him a happy birthday.
Via social media, David penned: “27 today Happy birthday Bust. We love you x.” Meanwhile Victoria wrote: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”
