Formby man seriously injured in attack outside pub

A man was seriously injured by an attack outside a bar.

The victim, in his 30s, was attacked on Three Tuns Lane in Formby, outside the Wall of Fame pub, Merseyside Police said.

He was found with injuries to his head and body and was taken to hospital.

The force said the man was in a serious but stable condition, and that a second man in his 30s – who was also attacked – has been discharged after treatment.
