Round four of Super League has drawn the lowest attendance so far in the competition this year with just two games breaking the 10,000 mark.
It’s been a brilliant year so far for Super League in terms of attendance figures with the competition massively up in terms of overall attendance, something that should be expected given the extra game every week.
However, there has also been a rise in average attendance which is up 6%, though that figure may have dropped off the back of the round four numbers.
The round four action got underway on Thursday with Wakefield edging Hull in a gritty game that now leaves the Black and Whites with just one win in their opening four.
Leigh Leopards are another club boasting that record after they lost 22-16 to Catalans Dragons on Friday whilst York gave Warrington a scare but ultimately lost 38-30.
Saturday evening saw Wigan’s dominance continue and Saints just beat Bradford before the Vegas teams returned on Sunday and both with wins as Hull KR beat Huddersfield and Leeds beat Castleford.

Leeds Rhinos top round four Super League attendance
Despite taking a strong travelling support to Las Vegas, Leeds also drew a great home attendance with the crowd of 15,301 at Headingley being the largest of the round.
Also breaking the five-figure mark was St Helens versus Bradford with 12,031 watching that game, however, no other match broke the 10,000 crowd.
Over 8,000 watched both the Wakefield and Leigh games whilst no official attendance was reported for York’s clash with Warrington.
Toulouse drew 5,497 to watch their game with Wigan whilst not even 5,000 fans watched Huddersfield limp to defeat against Hull KR, something that is perhaps forgivable given how bad the club’s injury crisis is right now.
