Fresh off their latest single release, the band will entertain fans with their new track “Witness To Everything,” which delves into the emotional rollercoaster of hope, despair, and a desire for change in a chaotic world.
The indie/new wave group are known for their reggae-infused bass lines, skittering drum beats, razor wire guitars, and punk edge melodies that blend seamlessly into their witty and catchy lyrics.
Black Hats have partnered with Grammy-nominated producer Sam Williams to create their first single, “Kick In The Doors.”
They have performed alongside well-known acts like Reef, Dodgy, and Stornaway, and have graced stage at UK festivals, including Wychwood Festival and Truck Festival, at the O2 Academy in Oxford.
Their second single, “No More Smoke,” featured in both Shameless and The Magicians on US TV.
Their latest single release “Witness To Everything” is available on all streaming platforms, cassette, and CD.
A vinyl release is expected later in the year, complete with all four singles and additional tracks.
Accolades for Black Hats include being named “Black Hats are a mesmerising band – the perfect balance of muscle and melody, power and poignancy, grove and grandeur” by Dancing About Architecture, while the Oxford Mail described them as an “exciting live act.”
They draw influence from a compelling range of artists, including Young Knives, Elvis Costello, the Jam, and Gang of Four, promising plenty more to come.
