A 14-year-old boy has died after a crash involving an electric bike and a car that also saw a 15-year-old boy sustain serious injuries.
Derbyshire Police said Finley Dawson was riding an electric bike in Newbold Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, with a 15-year-old passenger at about 20:30 GMT on Thursday when it collided with a Kia Sportage.
The force said the boys were thrown from the electric bike into the road and were taken to hospital, where Dawson died on Friday. The pillion passenger remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers said no arrests had been made and the driver of the Kia was being treated as a witness.
