Ellie Goulding has welcomed her second child, announcing the birth of a baby girl earlier this week.
The Burn singer, 39, revealed on Instagram she gave birth on Friday, March 6, at St Mary’s Hospital in London, sharing a photo of the newborn wrapped in a cream knit blanket.
“On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her,” Ms Goulding wrote.

She said: “It was fitting that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary’s, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness.
“I will always be in awe of midwives.”
Now the pop star has disclosed her daughter’s name through a traditional birth announcement placed in The Times newspaper.
The formal notice, published on Wednesday, confirmed the baby’s name as Iris Edaline Minniear-Goulding.

The announcement read: “Minniear-Goulding: On 6th March 2026 to Ellie Goulding and Beau Minniear, a daughter, Iris Edaline.”
The name Iris derives from Greek origins, meaning “rainbow”, while Edaline has English and German roots, meaning “noble”.
Ms Goulding shares her daughter with actor boyfriend Beau Minniear, 28, known for his role in Bad Haircut.
The couple first sparked romance rumours when they appeared together on social media in July, before making their relationship official during a London outing in September.

Ms Goulding later revealed her pregnancy at the 2025 Fashion Awards in December, debuting her baby bump on the red carpet.
Fans of the pop star were quick to take to social media upon seeing her birth announcement this week.
“Hot Mama alert!” one fan posted, while another penned: “Omg I’m so happy for her.”
“Over the moon with the news,” a third fan penned.
A fourth added: “Congratulations!!!” (sic).
The newborn is Ms Goulding’s second child.
She is already a mother to four-year-old son Arthur from her previous marriage to art dealer Caspar Jopling.
The former couple married in August 2019 and welcomed Arthur in 2021 before finalising their divorce in January 2025.

Sharing the happy family moment online, Ms Goulding said her son was thrilled by the new arrival.
She wrote: “This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so, so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.”
The Herefordshire-born singer also shared photographs of celebrations at home, including a cake decorated with the words “welcome baby sister”.
