Alya Nazir on Coronation Street is hiding something, and fans think they know what.
The character has been acting strangely this week, not wanting her partner Adam Barlow to find out about something. We saw her rejecting a call from someone named Rich, which is her former boss.
Alya worked with Rich at a law firm called Fabians, but she now works with Adam on the cobbles. So why is Rich contacting her, and why is she so uneasy about it?
On Thursday we saw her panic after a previous episode showed her getting out of someone’s car, after a secret meet-up. In the latest episode she realised she’d been filmed doing so by Adam, while he had not realised this.

Adam was filming Jodie Ramsey littering dog poo, and he couldn’t wait to post it on the community page. When Jodie and David Platt confronted Adam about the video, Alya finally saw it and was horrified.
In the background you could see her getting out of a car, and she feared it would expose whatever she was hiding. She urged Adam to delete the video for Jodie, and he did, seemingly not realising what his girlfriend was up to.
Fans are now speculating over why Alya was meeting up with someone, and what she might be hiding from Adam. One theory was that she could be having an affair, as others predicted something dodgy was going on.

A fan said on social media: “Alya was meeting with Rich I bet due to work stuff and she doesn’t want Adam to see her.” Another said: “Alya looks petrified of Rich. I wonder if she’s involved in something dark..”
A third fan guessed: “I assumed he was head hunting her, thought she was meant to leave again.” A fourth fan said: “Wtf is going with Alya? Has she had a affair or something?”
A further idea said: “Is Alya cheating on Adam?” while a different suggestion said: “Rich is stalking Alya.” This was repeated by a fan who said: “Oh God another stalker,” as another said: “Who is stalking Alya?”
