Tonight’s episode of Coronation Street sees predator Megan Walsh smugly admitting she has been grooming Will Driscoll as she threatens to silence Sam Blakeman.
The ITV soap has been airing an insidious grooming storyline for teen Will, who’s been roped into a relationship by his sports coach Megan.

As Sam has discovered Will and Megan’s bond goes beyond a friendship between athlete and trainer, he’s vowed to expose the coach, who issues an ominous warning in return in new scenes.
In tonight’s episode, which is available to watch now on ITVX, Megan checks in on Sam, but her composure crumbles when the teen defiantly says he’s not afraid of her.
“I’ll tell the truth. Now. Tonight,” Sam says. “I’ll tell everyone.”
Megan is taken aback for a moment before she comes clean about having been grooming Will.
“It’s true. All of it,” she says mockingly, though she warns Sam she’ll make sure no one will believe him.
“Me and Will go to bed with each other,” she finally says. “Tell a soul and I’ll laugh.
“I’ll say it’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.”

Megan insists that she will expose Sam as a “peeping Tom” who has a crush on her.
“And that’s why you planted a camera in my living room,” she adds, reminding Sam that the device has his fingerprints “all over” it.
She also admits staging “letting [Will] down gently” but hinted at their intimate relationship. “But after, we went into my bedroom and you’d blush if I told you what we did,” she says.

Sam stays silent as Megan brands him “Peeping Sam” and delivers one final threat.
“Remember what I said. Take me on, and I’ll destroy you,” she says.
Megan’s outburst is particularly shocking as she’s no longer interested in concealing the harrowing extents of her abuse.
However, it seems that she’ll face the music sooner rather than later as spoilers for next week’s episodes hint at Leanne Battersby sensing Megan is behind Sam’s recent strange behaviour.
She will share her suspicions to Eva Price and Ben Driscoll, who work to gather evidence to bring Megan to justice.
