Which is fantastic news. If, like me, you already have a Zwift-compatible best indoor smart trainer like the Wahoo Kickr Core 2. As it means you can upgrade your current indoor setup to the brilliant, faff-free solution for considerably less.

The Zwift Ride is an all-in-one indoor cycling solution that’s always ready to go. In Fellows Zwift Ride review, he gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Even at its full RRP, he thought it was an incredible value for money choice when compared to the best indoor smart bikes from rival brands like Peloton, Wattbike and Wahoo.

Given the star rating and the overwhelming positive quotes above, you won’t be surprised to know Simon really didn’t find much wrong with the Zwift Ride. His only real critique was the lack of crank length adjustment, which, in his opinion, would have elevated it to a perfect 5 out of 5.
As I mentioned, the Zwift Ride Smart Frame is a fantastic upgrade, If you already own a Zwift Ready or Zwift Cog Compatible smart trainer. The Ride can unlock the full potential of Zwift and thats is largely in part due to its built-in handlebar controllers. The real beauty is that it’s always ready to use, no trailing your outdoor bike through the house, removing wheels, and just the general faff involved there.
So, if what you’re looking for this spring is to get serious about your training and sort out a proper Zwift setup, the Zwift Ride Smart Frame is without doubt one of the best places to start.
