Billy starts getting the measure of creepy Bea (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)
Creepy Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) has been considered strange yet harmless in EastEnders.
It starts to become apparent next week, though, that she’s anything but harmless, when she commits a major fraud, and Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) becomes suspicious over her intense interest in his family.
Bea initially arrived as a long-lost acquaintance of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) who exposed that the former landlady of the Vic was a bit of a cow in her high school years. A misplaced bag brought Linda and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) to Bea’s home, just in time to see her thrown out by her landlord.
In an effort to make things right, Linda brought Bea back to Walford and found her a room at mum Elaine Peacock’s (Harriet Thorpe) boutique hotel, Peacock Palace, which is definitely not a B&B.
Bea tried to forge a new life for herself on Albert Square, finding herself on a fake date with Max Branning (Jake Wood), seeking employment with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) before engineering a burglary break-up at the Minute Mart and winning a job from Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota).

Working beside Honey, Bea quickly found herself a new best friend and began to lavish all of her attention upon her.
Though Honey’s husband, Billy was clearly uncomfortable with Bea’s constant presence, he kept shtum, and Bea began to float the idea of securing an enormous pay out from Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) to an incredibly drunken Honey.
The plot was a non-starter, as an even-more-drunk Honey sent an ill-advised email accidentally, landing both her and Bea with the sack. Though Bea managed to manipulate Vinny into re-hiring Honey, she wasn’t so lucky. Guilty that her job had been saved and Bea’s wasn’t, Honey invited Bea to stay at her house as she, Billy and the kids headed away on holiday.

Next week sees Bea, fresh off a clash with Linda and Elaine, apply for a credit card in Honey’s name.
When Billy, Will (Freddie Phillips) and Janet Mitchell (Grace) come home from holiday, sans Honey who’s caring for an aunty, Bea is crippled with embarrassment when they learn that she’s eaten everything in the house and the kitchen is bare. Desperate to save face, Bea heads off to secure a job and finds one at McClunky’s.
With Billy’s back already up at the empty cupboards, he’s further chilled after a conversation Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), his fears over Bea’s growing obsession with his family growing tenfold.
His patience snaps when Bea finds Will a Saturday job at Harry’s Barn, and he chastises her for overstepping the bounds. Without Honey to defend her, will Bea burn her bridges with the Mitchell family? Or will her powers of manipulation enrapture Billy the same way she has Honey?
