Harry Styles’ record-breaking Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. is aiming to score a second consecutive week at the Official Albums Chart summit, but faces strong competition from James Blake with his latest record, Trying Times.
After surpassing his own personal best, achieving the biggest opening week of his career so far, Harry’s fourth studio LP now looks to carry on that good fortune by remaining at Number 1 for another week.
However, James Blake’s Trying Times also finds itself in the running for top spot, currently at Number 2. Released on independent label Good Boy Records, the album is tracking to net James his highest-ever finish, and potentially his first Number 1.

This amazing run for British musicians was highlighted last week, when the Official Charts Company announced that the first 11 weeks of 2026 saw the Number 1 position on the Official Albums Chart occupied solely by British artists for the first time in a decade. And with Harry and James locking horns this week, it’s likely we’ll see this trend continue.
Elsewhere, Brighton-based rockers YONAKA are tracking for their first-ever with Until You’re Satisfied (5). The trio, consisting of Theresa Jarvis, George Edwards and Alex Crosby, will look to add to the success of 2019’s Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow, their maiden Top 40 accolade.
The Black Crowes’ A Pound of Feathers (9) could earn the legendary American outfit – brothers Chris and Rich Robinson and Sven Pipien – their best performing record in the UK since 1994’s amorica. Moreover, fellow countrymen Lamb of God set their sights on a fourth Top 20 finish with their latest project Into Oblivion (11).
There could be strong movement for Tate McRae’s So Close To What, after a 2LP vinyl varient of the record’s deluxe edition dropped last week. The album currently eyes a 16-place jump (6).
Calvin Harris’ 96 Months aims to scale further up the standings after re-entering the Top 40 last week (34), while Peter Gabriel’s 2003 live recording In The Big Room, is on course to make its Top 40 debut following a special vinyl drop (40).
