Hollyoaks is set to continue Mercedes McQueen and Jenson Cole’s secret romance, as he becomes a part of her life in another unexpected way. Viewers will remember that Mercedes met Jenson, who she knew as Jake, in rehab, and the pair shared a moment of passion that has stuck with them both.
But what Mercedes didn’t know was that Jenson had sinister motives and was using her to get to Warren – who we now know is his secret brother. In this week’s episodes, Warren kidnaps his old enemy in the woods but is shocked when Jenson claims that he has proof they are long-lost siblings.

Jenson’s fate wasn’t known beyond this point, but Hollyoaks has now revealed that he survives this dangerous encounter with Warren, as next week Mercedes finds him asleep in her living room.
It seems that Jenson has started to make up for lost time with Warren, with the brothers having spent the night getting to know each other properly. While Mercedes vows to find out what Jenson is really up to, Warren ropes him into helping him move back into the flat that Ste has just moved out of.
Later, Mercedes manages to get Jenson alone, and he admits that his intentions were far from honest when he previously turned up at rehab. However, he says that he has caught real feelings for her, and Mercedes warns him about what Warren would do if he discovered the truth about their relationship.
Mercedes and Jenson can’t keep away from each other, and the chemistry between them at the salon opening is undeniable. But Jenson then receives a mysterious call from someone who he owes money to…
While hiding yet another big secret, Jenson goes against Warren’s wishes and decides to throw a relaunch party at The Loft – perhaps a way for the loan shark to make more money.

Elsewhere, Warren is involved in his own romantic drama, as he is currently dating Mercedes and Gemma at the same time. Warren plans a date with Gemma at a fancy restaurant, but Gemma says she would rather go to Jenson’s exciting launch event.
Theresa takes Warren aside and suggests that he needs to choose which woman he really wants. Meanwhile, Jenson comes looking for Warren at the McQueens and checks in on Mercedes’s recovery at the same time. He offers her a listening ear, but will the pair continue to grow closer?
At the relaunch party at The Loft, things take a shocking turn, and an unexpected chain of events puts Mercedes at the centre of the drama. Just what will unfold?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
