EastEnders spoilers follow.
Walford had two big visitors tonight, as new faces arrived on Albert Square. The EastEnders episode saw the introduction of Jasmine Fisher’s twin brother Josh Goodwin, who arrived along with his adoptive mother Sandra.
Bur Sandra and Josh’s arrival has only led to more questions, as Jasmine’s dark past was further hinted to.

Back in November, viewers had been introduced to Anita Fisher, Jasmine’s adoptive mother who met up with Cindy and Lauren. While Anita didn’t give much information about Jasmine’s background, she did say her daughter had a “dangerous side”.
Then last month, after Jasmine was charged with her father Anthony’s murder, it was revealed that Jasmine has a brother named Josh, after Cindy heard a voicemail he’d left on his sister’s phone.
Tonight, Kim and Denise discovered there was a woman asking around the Square about Jasmine. Assuming she was a journalist, the pair apprehended her and locked her in the salon to scare her away.
But the woman was soon revealed to be Sandra, the adoptive mother of Josh, Jasmine’s brother.

Kim, Denise, and Sandra were soon having a heart-to-heart, with Sandra sharing that her son Josh is an “out and proud gay man”.
However the conversation soon turned when Sandra revealed that she had initially taken in both Jasmine and Josh when they were four-years-old.
Kim then asked why she decided to give up Jasmine, to which Sandra replied: “There was an incident, and it was decided it was best if we separated the twins.”
When Kim tried to press Sandra on “the incident”, Sandra said she didn’t want to talk about it, adding: “I can’t allow myself to go there.”
Sandra said she then formally adopted Josh, leading to Jasmine deciding she never wanted to see either of them again.
But while Sandra was getting to know Denise and Kim she had no idea that Josh had secretly followed her to Walford and was drinking at The Albert nearby.
Later, as Sandra was leaving the salon with Denise and Kim, they saw Josh being kicked out of the Albert by Cindy, who mistakenly thought he was dealing drugs.

Josh immediately asked his mum if she’d found out anything about Jasmine and Kim and Denise implored Sandra to tell him the truth.
Sandra then formally introduced Josh to Denise and Kim, saying they were “more or less related” to his biological father, Anthony.
But how long will it be before Josh runs into his biological mother, Zoe? And what is the dark secret in Jasmine’s past that Sandra doesn’t want to share?
