Alcaraz arrives in Florida chasing his second Miami crown, having lifted his maiden ATP Masters 1000 trophy at the event in 2022. Meanwhile, Sinner is riding high after his triumph in Indian Wells, where he defeated Daniil Medvedev to move within one title of completing the coveted ‘Sunshine Double’.

The 24-year-old Italian boasts an impressive 19-3 record in Miami, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, having also triumphed at the event in 2024.

A meeting between the two in Miami would have to come in the final. Should both stars advance, it would mark the 17th installment of their rapidly growing rivalry, with Alcaraz currently leading their Lexus ATP Head2Head series 10-6.

Alcaraz, who fell to Medvedev in the Indian Wells semi-finals, could open against #NextGenATP Brazilian Joao Fonseca in a blockbuster first match. Sinner, meanwhile, begins his campaign against Ignacio Buse or Damir Dzumhur.

The hard-court ATP Masters 1000 event runs from 18–29 March in Miami.
