Bruno Fernandes has made a prediction about Manchester United’s new signing, Bryan Mbeumo.

Amid a striker pursuit for Manchester United, Ruben Amorim will be happy with his summer window at Old Trafford thus far.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has gifted the Portuguese manager Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, two of the Premier League’s most fearsome forwards, last season.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes has made a long-term prediction about the former.

Bruno Fernandes on Bryan Mbeumo

Fernandes has suggested that the new Cameroonian forward will have played his “first of many” United games after featuring in the friendly fixture for United against Everton.

Mbeumo posted on Instagram after his Man United bout, with the following message. He wrote: ‘US Tour done. Happy to have made my debut with the team. Thanks, fans, for the massive support.’

The replies were flooded with responses from United stars, including Fernandes.

Other notable names included Diogo Dalot, Rio Ferdinand and Joshua Zirkzee. The former Brentford man appears to already have the camaraderie of his teammates.

Much like Matheus Cunha, who has integrated into the United squad like a glove. And just like Mbeumo, Bruno thinks he’ll be at Old Trafford for many years to come.

Bruno Fernandes one of United’s longest-serving players

Fernandes, since joining in 2020, has played a whopping 290 games for Manchester United – and counting.

If Mbeumo can follow in the United club captain’s footsteps, he’s going to have a great career at Old Trafford.
