Vanessa Dalby and Simon Thomas who own The Angove Guest House on the Esplanade have been starring all week as the hosts of Channel 4’s Four in a Bed.
The show pits B&B owners from across the country against each other.
In each episode, contestants throw open their doors and take turns to stay with each other, as they compete to be crowned the best hosts.
On this afternoon’s episode, the guest house was announced the winner of this week’s competition.

Despite Jordan Cave and Robin Porter of the Drayton Crown in Somerset saying they only got three hours sleep and didn’t sleep well due to the traffic on Weymouth Esplanade, the couple were paid in full by them and overpaid by another couple, finishing with 104 per cent of their pay.
They were paid full price on a £140 and £130 room, whilst guests paid £135 for a £120 room.
At the end of the episode, Simon said he was “immensely proud” of the result and Vanessa, added: “I couldn’t do it without my wingman.”
During the episode where guests visited the Angove, the group took a stroll along Weymouth Beach, with some running into the sea for a paddle and a quick dance of the can-can.
Later, we were given a deeper insight into hosts Vanessa and Simon’s relationship as they told the guests how they met via online dating.
The pair were presented with a winning plaque.
