MK Dons suffered a first League Two defeat since New Year’s Day as Barnet came from behind to claim an away win.
Jon Mellish gave the Dons an early lead, but goals from Danny Collinge, Kabongo Tshimanga and Idris Kanu saw the Bees pick up a first win in four games.
The home side opened the scoring after seven minutes when goalkeeper Cieran Slicker dropped Aaron Nemane’s cross and Mellish tapped the ball into an empty net.
Barnet came close to equalising as Craig MacGillivray denied Ryan Glover and Adam Senior, but they did level in first-half stoppage time when Collinge headed in Mark Shelton’s corner.
Ex-Dons striker Tshimanga put Barnet ahead after 48 minutes as his deflected strike from the edge of the box beat MacGillivray.
The visitors extended their lead in the 57th minute when Kanu was first to a rushed clearance to fire home.
MK Dons’ misery was compounded with a missed penalty when Aaron Collins was brought down in the box but Slicker saved Rushian Hepburn-Murphy’s spot-kick.
