The Currock fighter will take on George Thorpe at the Gorilla 2 show in Birmingham on Sunday.
Christie, who was a British bare-knuckle champion on the BKFC platform, is now preparing for gloved action against fellow BKFC man Thorpe.
The fight, on former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) boxer Darren Till’s Gorilla Promotions, is in Thorpe’s home city of Birmingham.
Christie, 41, will aim to show off some of the punching skills against 29-year-old Thorpe that saw him become the BKFC’s British light-heavyweight champion back in 2023.
He won five of his BKFC fights and lost three, and was involved in a world middleweight title contest against David Mundell, before announcing his retirement from the platform last year.
Christie, speaking on social media, said he is planning to “knock gormless George Thorpe into the middle of next week” at the Gorilla prize-fighter style event.
The action is live on DAZN with the show getting under way at 3.30pm.
