Ronnie O’Sullivan wins his fourth frame in a row to continue his early dominance.
Thepchaiya Un-Nooh successfully went for a long red but pulled out of going for another at the next opportunity, playing safe but he wasn’t accurate enough there.
O’Sullivan made a long red of his own, but couldn’t find position on the black and had to settle for safety.
But the Rocket was back at the table soon enough, despite the black ball out of commision, he sinks the available reds and opens the pack.
He surprisingly missed the next cut though, his first real error through three-and-a-half frames of this final.
Un-Nooh had his biggest chance to win a frame and he got a massive slice of luck on the pink, it going in the wrong pocket following an overhit.
And then, having been snookered on the only remaining red, Un-Nooh somehow fouls by hitting the pink and then going in-off.
A terrible mistake but O’Sullivan still had work to do to overcome the 30-point deficit.
But he got a lovely touch on the green and cleaned up the table to steal a fourth frame. This one will hurt Un-Nooh.
It has been a disastrous opening session for the Thai star.
