Police have arrested four teenagers after a brawl erupted in Birmingham city centre following a planned demonstration related to conflict in Iran.
Video footage captured ugly scenes unfolding in Victoria Square on Saturday afternoon (March 21) where fighting broke out in front of families and passers-by.
One figure, dressed in a hood and mask, appeared to confront a group of men while holding a knife before being chased and tripping over.

The figure could then be seen surrounded on the floor as people kicked him.
Onlookers could be seen watching on in the background, including a man with a pushchair and children.

West Midlands Police (WMP) said no one is known to have been injured after the melee took place at around 3.50pm yesterday.
A zombie knife was also recovered, and is currently being analysed, however it’s understood the weapon wasn’t used.
Two people dressed in high-vis clothing, who appeared to be security, were also present.
A spokesperson for WMP said: “We’ve arrested four teenagers following disorder in Birmingham city centre.
“Fighting occurred in Victoria Square at around 3.50pm yesterday (21 March) and no-one is known to have been injured.
“A zombie knife was recovered from the area and is now being analysed.
“We understand while threats were made the weapon wasn’t used.
“We’ve detained four boys – aged between 14 and 16 – on suspicion of violent disorder.
“They’re currently in custody for questioning.
“We’re continuing to review footage and liaise with security staff who were present after a planned demonstration had finished in the area a short time earlier.
“Investigators are working to establish the full circumstances and identify who was involved.
