Made a really good stop from an Arsenal penalty in the first half, had no chance with the goal but got lucky when the linesman’s flag saved him after he spilled a deep cross .
Scored a really good goal after bursting into the six yard box and finding the top corner from Dinsdale’s cross. Had the better of his man down the right, until he got turned too easily just before he was subbed off with 5 minutes remaining.
Didn’t give any Arsenal players a sniff, so solid at the back, used his strength well and played out well from the back too.
Finished really well at the back post to make it 3-0, almost got another but steered a header wide late on, and like his centre back partner, dominated the Arsenal attack.
Was always bursting down the left wing to provide an option, forcing a good save in the first half, and got back well to sniff out any Arsenal attacks down his side.
Used the ball really well all game, playing first time balls to teammates. Had a chance to score in the second half but steered his shot wide well when placed.
Some jinking runs down the right wing and got an assist after his dangerous cross was steered home by Jenson Jones.
Went close with a free kick on the stroke of half time, had a number of other attempts and was involved in the second goal, after he picked out Dinsdale on the right. Played some really good balls around the Arsenal box but also gave away a penalty with a clumsy trip.
Lots of strong running from Harrison to break up the pitch, was always troubling Arsenal with his pace and intent. Picked out Kindon for the third goal, played a lovely reverse ball for a Lightfoot chance but had a heavy touch in his own ‘D’ which gave an easy chance for Arsenal for their goal.
Combined well with Whittaker and Lightfoot down the left, worked hard out of possession but not a lot of cutting edge.
Opened the scoring with a well taken goal after bursting onto a loose ball and finishing underneath the goalkeeper, could easily have got more too with another effort hitting the post after dribbling past four defenders. Cruised through most of the game but was still too much for the Arsenal defence.
Was lively after his introduction, with some incisive passing.
Worked hard after coming on.
Broke up play after coming on, providing the defence some extra protection.
Only came on late but made one really good clearance from a great cross from Arsenal.
Man of the Match: Harrison Jones
Everything came through the captain today, with Harrison Jones pulling the strings. Got an assist with a corner that landed for Ben Kindon and could easily have got another couple of assists with clever balls around the box. Went up top after Abdullahi went off and still caused issues with his pace and work rate. Unfortunate that a heavy touch led directly led to the Arsenal goal but that shouldn’t take away from an excellent display.
