Mikey Moore has been in exceptional form for Rangers since his loan move from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

While Ange Postecoglou gave him his Spurs debut and the teenager was a first-team player, his minutes in North London would have been limited.

A loan to Ibrox gave him the chance to play regularly every week, and he has used that opportunity to become a key first-team player for the club.

Mikey Moore has admitted that he has enjoyed his time at Rangers and would not mind staying on for another season.

He has revealed that conversations are taking place regarding the possibility of him returning to Ibrox for the 2026/27 campaign.

At the same time, the winger has stated that he is unsure if the two clubs have been holding talks, but conversations with people around him have taken place.

The 18-year-old has described his time in Glasgow as “unbelievable” and has admitted that he has enjoyed every minute playing for the Light Blues.

The BBC quoted him as saying: “I’ve loved every single second I’ve been here, the club is special and special to me now.

“I’m just going to enjoy the next seven games and obviously, I need to speak to people back home and you never know what can happen.

“I don’t know if there’s been much club-to-club contact yet but I know that people spoke to me and the people around me, so conversations are happening.

“I’m going to speak to people and just try and find the best solution for me.

“But this has been unbelievable and if it’s right for me next year, then I’d love to stay here, but we have to see what’s going on.”

Rangers would have to pay huge money if they were to sign the English teenager permanently, so that is not likely to be on the cards.

It would require the Gers to break their transfer record and, despite new owners arriving in May, they are unlikely to sanction a near £30m outlay on one player.

One thing is clear: Danny Rohl likes Moore and would want him back, and the player, too, sees the positives in returning at least for another season.

However, this would likely hinge on Spurs avoiding relegation from the Premier League.

If they do end up getting relegated, a lot of their first-team players would leave, and that could see Moore becoming a first-team regular in the Championship, ending his chances of a return to Ibrox.
