Held at the club, the festivities included a Greensome Stableford followed by a Card Matchplay tournament.

Lynda Walker and Fiona Brill topped the Greensome leaderboard with an impressive thirty-three points, narrowly edging out Sarah Wharmby and Rosalie Steel, who also reached thirty-three points but fell short on countback.

Jan Steadman and Gayle Laybourn secured third place with thirty-two points.

In the Card Matchplay event, the dynamic duo of Wharmby and Steel redeemed themselves by defeating Mary Crampton and Sue Cox in the final.

This new format offered an enjoyable twist.

The club’s commitment to improving facilities is exemplified by the fundraising efforts aimed at refurbishing the ladies’ cloakroom, a project inspired by the century-long legacy of the section.

With a successful Christmas Hamper Raffle already raising funds, the ladies are excited to plan further special events throughout the year.
