ESPNcricinfo has learned that Bumrah is at the CoE primarily to work on strength and conditioning. It is understood that the plan for Bumrah to work at CoE has been devised by the BCCI medical team with the focus on India’s white-ball tour of England in July where they will play five T20Is and three ODIs. Bumrah is understood to be continuing bowling at CoE and will join Mumbai Indians soon to be ready to play their first match of IPL 2026, a home game against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29.
