However, despite being the constituency of Reform’s leader, Farage, no one from the party is on Thursday night’s show.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the hour-long debate tonight.
When is BBC Question Time on and how can I watch?
The show starts after the 10 o’clock news on BBC One, and it will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer from 9pm.
Jake Richards
Richards has served as a Labour MP for Rother Valley since 2024 and has been a parliamentary under-secretary of state at the Ministry of Justice since September.
In December, he rejected a request by MP Jeremy Corbyn to meet with the families of imprisoned Palestine Action-affiliated hunger strikers.
Richards flatly rejected the request, which brought laughter from MPs in the Commons chamber that was condemned online.
Tom Tugendhat
Tugendhat is a Tory MP for Tonbridge, previously Tonbridge and Malling, since 2015.
He had hoped to be the leader of the party, but ultimately lost out to Kemi Badenoch. He had a disastrous campaign launch in 2024, as his slogan used the acronym “turd”.
“Together we can:
“Unite the party.
“Rebuild trust.
“Defeat Labour.”
Not ideal.
Layla Moran

Moran has been a Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon since 2017 and has served as the Chair of the Health and Social Care Select Committee since September 2024.
In 2023, a clip of Moran, a British-Palestinian MP, went viral after TV presenter Richard Madeley asked her whether she had heard advanced warnings about Hamas’s attacks on Israel.
The Good Morning Britain presenter came under fire after a clip of an interview with Moran, who has family living in Palestine, was condemned as being racist. Madeley later apologised that he “upset viewers”.
Tom Skinner
Skinner is best known as a businessman and TV personality and has starred in shows including The Apprentice and Strictly Come Dancing.
