Dates and broadcast arrangements for the 2025/26 play-offs
The Scottish Professional Football League has today announced the full schedule and broadcast selections for the end-of-season play-offs in May.
The William Hill Premiership, Championship and League 1 play-offs will all get under way on Tuesday May 5, kicking off almost three weeks of play-off action that will see a total of 10 matches shown live across Sky Sports, BBC Scotland and BBC ALBA.
BBC Scotland will have live coverage of the Premiership play-off quarter-finals on Tuesday May 5 and Friday May 8 followed by the semi-finals on Tuesday May 12 and Friday May 15. The Premiership play-off final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports on Thursday May 21 and Monday May 25, with an 8.00pm kick-off for both legs.
If any club is involved in both the Scottish Cup final and the William Hill Premiership play-off final, those play-off final ties will be rescheduled for Tuesday May 26 and Friday May 29.
Both legs of the William Hill Championship play-off final will be broadcast live on BBC ALBA on Wednesday May 13 and Saturday May 16, with the League 1 play-off final also live on BBC ALBA on Tuesday May 12 and Friday May 15.
SPFL Chief Operating Officer Calum Beattie said: “There is still a lot of football to be played before the end of the regular season but we are pleased to be able to confirm the full list of dates and broadcast selections for the eagerly-anticipated play-offs.
“The Premiership play-offs have been an exciting and integral part of the calendar since the SPFL was established in 2013 while the Championship and League 1 play-offs have now been running for 20 years, having been introduced back in season 2005/06.”
