Beyond Paradise viewers said the same thing after the BBC show returned after a year away from screens. The British crime drama is a spin-off of the long-running series Death in Paradise and fans have been patiently awaiting a fourth season of the show. Beyond Paradise finally returned to screens tonight, following the hour-long Christmas special last year set in the fictional Devonshire town.
The popular BBC programme follows DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall), who left the Caribbean island of Saint Marie to start a new life in the Devonshire town of Shipton Abbott with his partner, Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton).
The final episode of series three was an emotional rollercoaster. Viewers watched Humphrey and Martha bid a sweet farewell to their foster daughter Rosie (Bella Rei Blue Stevenson).
Series four continues to tell the personal story of Humphrey and his partner Martha after their wedding. It also follows Detective Inspector Goodman and his colleagues as they solve a series of bizarre crimes.

After a rather chaotic start to the season as Humphrey and Martha were stranded on their boat, fans took to social media to share just how much they have missed the show.
BBC viewers said the same thing after the hilarious start. On X, one said: “Finally new series of #beyondparadise@BeyondPOfficial. Oh have I missed you.”
A second said: “I’VE MISSED YOU GUYS!!!” While a third added: “Yes #beyondparadise is back! [round of applause emoji]”
A fourth said: “Brilliant opening.” And a fifth said: “Only Humphrey [laughing emoji].”
A sixth wrote: “What a brilliant opening episode to season four.”
More said “#BeyondParadise is back and then #DeathinParadise what a Friday night”, “Had one of the most stressful days today, but #BeyondParadise is back tonight, and that’s just the thing I need”, and “Does anyone else clap when the music begins?”
Series four of Beyond Paradise contains six episodes which will air on Friday nights at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
