Dom Whiting’s Drum & Bass On The Bike is set to descend on the city tomorrow.
An estimated crowd of 2,000 gathered on Above Bar Street when the cycling sensation last came to Southampton, back in 2024.
During the build-up to Dom’s departure people of all ages bounced up and down in time to music that blasted out of several speakers.
Some of the spectators gathered in the street, halting double-decker buses and other vehicles trying to get through.
Dom’s route through Southampton on Sunday afternoon will take him from Guildhall Square, up the Avenue, along Burgess Road and down Winchester Road.
He will then turn left along Romsey Road and Shirley High Street, saying: “We had to include the iconic Shirley Street from the 2022 ride!”
The route then sees the ride go back past the station and ending back in Guildhall Square.
It is due to start at 2pm.
