Police have launched an investigation after three men were assaulted inside a Digbeth pub – leaving one of the victims with a fractured jaw and broken teeth.

The victims were assaulted inside Cleary’s Irish Bar in Digbeth on Saturday, January 24.

West Midlands Police this evening issued CCTV images of two men officers would like to identify following the attacks.

The first man, with a distinctive sleeve tattoo, was pictured wearing a white t-shirt and a black beanie.

The second man was pictured wearing a black and white cap.

Cleary’s, located in Moseley Street, is a traditional Irish bar operated by Patrick Naughton, who hails from Connemara.

Issuing an appeal tonight, a force spokesperson said: “Recognise this pair?

“We want to speak to them after three men were assaulted inside Cleary’s Irish Bar in Digbeth.

“One victim suffered a fractured jaw and broken teeth.

“The incident took place on Saturday, January 24.
