With Easter Sunday almost upon us, it’s time to lay out your plans for the weekend – top of the list, what food you’ll be eating. The hallmarks of the springtime holiday have arrived: weather warming up, days becoming longer, and the seasonal delights from the best hot cross buns to the best Easter eggs springing up on our supermarket shelves.

Planning a big Easter feast or just popping out for a last-minute chocolate fix? It’s always worth double-checking supermarket opening times before you leave the house. Just bear in mind that hours can vary by location, especially for smaller convenience stores, so it’s a good idea to check with your local branch before setting off.
