Jadon Sancho’s recent Instagram post has been hijacked by supporters of Besiktas and Fenerbahce begging the forward to move to Turkey, amid ongoing speculation regarding his future at Manchester United.

The 25-year-old looks set to end a disappointing stint with United this summer after falling out of favour at Old Trafford. The forward, who spent the last 18 months on loan at Chelsea and his former club Borussia Dortmund, returned to Carrington last week but is one of five players training away from the rest of the United first-team.

Sancho, who joined United for £72m from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, has been linked with a move to Serie A sides Juventus and Inter Milan. However, it appears that supporters of certain clubs in Turkey are desperate for the England international to join.

The winger, along with Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Tyrell Malacia and Antony have all been training away from the first-team group as the club look to move them on.

Any incoming transfer business will be dependant on United’s ability to sell the five aforementioned players. Earlier this week, Sancho’s first Instagram post in more than six weeks was hijacked by fans of Besiktas and Fenerbahce begging the forward to make the move to the Turkish Super Lig this summer.

In total, the 25-year-old’s post accumulated more than 400,000 likes and 200,000 comments. Sancho is expected to be left out of the United squad that travels to Stockholm, Sweden, over the weekend to face Leeds United in a pre-season friendly.

United travel to Chicago on Tuesday and will be based in the city for the majority of their three-match tour. Sancho has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford.
