Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (7 April), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has aired a huge cliffhanger involving Clare Devine, as her escape plan takes a horrifying turn. The villain has been in prison since last year, but last week she staged an elaborate break for freedom – and when she returned to the village, she fatally shot her grandad Froggy as an altercation escalated.
This week, Clare blackmailed Donny for money, then she seized an opportunity and drove off in Sienna’s car, with Tori and baby Joseph in tow.

Cleo was beside herself as she realised her baby had gone missing in today’s episode. Sienna and Warren set off in hot pursuit of Clare, with Sophie in the backseat, while Mercedes was left to console Cleo.
Delighted to be reunited with her adopted daughter, Clare decided that she would start a new life on the run with Tori and Joseph. She eventually stopped the car and told Tori they would walk to the ferry port – but while Clare was distracted, Tori secretly grabbed Sienna’s phone and sent Warren a location pin.
Back in the village, Cleo raged at Clare and vowed to kill her for her actions. Dodger told her that Clare was heading to the ferry port and while he urged Cleo to stay put, she told Mercedes to let her go and find her child.
Sienna spotted her abandoned car, so she and Warren got out and headed towards the port, using the location pin for directions. Clare got lost trying to find the ferry port, so she was caught by Sienna and Warren on the edge of a cliff.
Tori immediately ran towards Warren, and after some gentle persuasion from Sienna, Clare finally gave baby Joseph back. Warren took the two kids away to safety, and left Sienna and Clare to face off.

Meanwhile, desperate Cleo arrived near the port and rushed towards the water, with Sophie running after her when she spotted her getting out a taxi.
Clare continued to taunt Sienna when she refused to help her get on a ferry, and the situation escalated when Clare revealed that before the plane crash, Jez told her Sienna killed Ethan.
Sienna was pushed to the brink and in a huge twist, she pushed Clare off the cliff and into the water – as horrified Sophie and Cleo watched on.
Has Sienna just killed Clare?
