Asked whether any arrests had been made, North Wales Police said there were “no updates at the moment.”

Senior investigating officer, detective inspector Rob Mahoney of North Wales police, said last week: “We understand through CCTV inquiries the victim was involved in a physical altercation at around midday on Thursday on the Bonc Wen car park in Rhos.

“At the time, several people walked past, while a number of cars were parked in the car park.

“I am asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who was parked in the car park at the time and may have dashcam footage, to get in touch with officers.”

DI Mahoney had added: “I would like to reassure the community that we are treating this as an isolated incident. While the community will be concerned, I do not believe there is any wider risk to the public.

“I am also asking the community to continue to support officers as they make the necessary inquiries.”
