Probe continues into crash that left two seriously injured

The probe was launched after a black Mini Cooper smashed into a grass verge on the A148 at Sculthorpe at around 9.45pm on Tuesday, March 17.

It is believed that the car was travelling towards Fakenham at the time of the incident.

The driver and a passenger of the vehicle were both seriously injured in the crash and were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by air ambulance.

Following the crash, a road closure was put in place on the B1355, which remained until 1.47am on Wednesday, March 18.

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that investigations into the crash were still ongoing and that enquiries continue.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or may have any relevant dashcam footage that could assist with the investigation.
