Viktor Hovland gave the patrons a glimpse into his private life ahead of the 2026 Masters, revealing his new girlfriend, Tuva Jensen, during the annual Par 3 Contest at Augusta National. Jensen acted as Hovland’s caddie during the annual nine-hole event.

The 28-year-old Norwegian and Jensen walked the Par 3 course together, with Jensen carrying Hovland’s golf bag. Their chemistry was on full display, culminating in a kiss on the 9th green — a moment quickly picked up by golf fans back home on social media.

A video from the round also captured a playful side of the couple when Jensen took a putt herself, using Hovland’s PING PLD DS 72 putter. She nearly holed a lengthy downhill attempt before tapping the ball in and raising her hands in celebration, much to the delight of spectators and her new beau.

Hovland arrives at Augusta with mixed form in 2026.

Across seven events worldwide this year, he has four top-20 finishes, including a T10 at the WM Phoenix Open, but recently missed the cut while defending his title at the Valspar Championship.

A seven-time PGA Tour winner and 2023 FedEx Cup champion, Hovland has yet to capture a major.

His best finish in a major remains a T2 at the 2023 PGA Championship, while his only top-10 at Augusta came in 2023 with a T7.

Hovland first rose to prominence by winning the 2018 U.S. Amateur, becoming the first Norwegian to do so.

Since then, he has claimed seven PGA Tour titles, including the 2023 Tour Championship, which secured him the season-long FedEx Cup.

He also won Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge in 2021 and 2022, though these are non-official PGA Tour events.

An experienced Ryder Cup player, Hovland has represented Europe in three contests, helping secure victories in 2023 at Marco Simone in Rome and 2025 at Bethpage Black.

Across 13 matches, his record stands at 4-5-4.

Notably, a half-point he earned under the Ryder Cup’s controversial “envelope rule” at Bethpage last September proved crucial in Europe’s narrow 15-13 victory, after Shane Lowry sank a decisive seven-foot putt to retain the Cup.
