Valorant’s 12.07 patch notes are officially here, with the update bringing fixes to the scope aiming issue and a long-awaited Discord integration. Here’s everything you need to know.
2026 has already been huge for Valorant, bringing in the new Agent Miks, nerfing Waylay’s Staturate and Viper’s Vipers Pit ultimate, a new pistol in the Bandit, changes to various maps like Breeze and Lotus, and so much more.
Well, now the 12.07 patch is here, this time bringing a much-needed fix to the scope aiming issues and finally, Discord integration for all those looking to play with friends.

Discord integration & scope aiming fix
The two biggest changes in the Valorant 12.07 patch are the scope aiming fix. Previously, players have been complaining about an inconsistency in the center range of view with certain base scope reticles. This has now been updated to make them more consistent, so you should be able to aim a little better now.

On top of this, Valorant has officially partnered with Discord to allow players the chance to link their accounts and unlock new social features. When they do, they’ll be able to connect to friends’ lobbies within Valorant, invite friends to their party, and see which of their friends are playing, all without tabbing out of the game.

We’ve made some updates to several scope reticles to make them more consistent in the center range of view with the base scope reticle.
Here is the list of updated skins: Kuronami Marshal, EX.O Marshal, Nocturnum Marshal, Araxys Outlaw and Operator. Thanks to Grimm for the feedback!

Gifting ineligibility screen now extends the full width of the screen.
Fixed various clipping issues when at the purchase confirm step while purchasing a gun buddy.
Fixed header text coloring on purchase confirm screen.
Fixed various inconsistencies with bundle detail buttons.
Fixed issue that caused sprays to appear darkened when previewing in the purchase flow.
Bundle carousels are now a consistent height across all points of the purchase flow.
Removed icon from feared bundle tile while bundle is owned.
Resolved discoloration of offer tile while gifting a flex.
Resolved performance issue where having a large friends list was causing slight lag.

The settings screens have been revamped to improve functionality and visual clarity

We understand some of you quickly adjust settings during games, and we didn’t want to jeopardize that experience. The experience should largely feel the same but with improved QOL.

VALORANT is partnering with Discord to make getting into your next game with your friends easier. You can now link your accounts to unlock new social features!
Invite friends in Discord straight to your party from within VALORANT. No alt-tabbing needed!
Copy a lobby link and share it directly on your server or anywhere your friends are.
See which of your Discord friends play VALORANT and jump into parties faster.
This will roll out as a beta in Brazil first, followed by the US & Canada on April 21, PT time. It will exit beta and launch globally with patch 12.08 on April 29, PT time.
