THE RUNDOWN

Hailey Bieber discussed her approach to son Jack’s style in her new Interview cover story. The model admitted she finds children’s clothes “difficult” because she prefers to dress Jack in more simple pieces. She also shared her thoughts on expanding her family, saying she is taking it “one [child] at a time.”

Hailey Bieber regularly gives fans looks at her son Jack Blues Bieber’s outfits, including his latest ensemble for Coachella: a white tank and black pants. However, Hailey recently shared that it isn’t easy finding pieces she likes for the 1-year-old she shares with Justin Bieber: She prefers to keep Jack’s wardrobe simple, and lots of clothing for children is “very patterned.”

To Interview, she explained her approach to dressing her son: “I find baby and kids clothes difficult,” she admitted. “A lot of it is very patterned and has a lot of little animals or figurines on it, or it’s a T-shirt that says, ‘I love my mommy.’ There’s nothing wrong with any of that, but I like dressing him more on the simple side. I like putting him in big baggy sweats or jeans and a white T-shirt or a little hoodie. Justin’s team has made him tons of custom Skylrk [Justin’s fashion brand] stuff, which is so cute. My vibe with him is cozy and yummy and cute and simple.”

Hailey then spoke more broadly about her favorite part of being a mother. “Just seeing this little human evolve before your eyes,” she said. “They grow so fast and they change so much and there’s always so much excitement. You’re watching them experience life for the first time, so you kind of feel like you’re experiencing it that way with them.”

While Hailey plans to give Jack a sibling someday, she said she isn’t sure how many more children she’ll have. “I definitely want more than one, but I’m taking it one at a time,” she said. “Some days I want two. Some days I want five.”

For now, the Rhode entrepreneur remains focused on Jack. Shortly before her Interview cover story broke, she shared new photos of him with his dad at Coachella. It marked the toddler’s first time at the festival.
