Cheshire East Council announced it is making an order banning cycling on Centurion Way, Pennymoor Drive, White Park Close, and part of Holmes Chapel Road.
The move comes at the request of energy company, Scottish Power, and begins on Monday, May 11.
The order itself lasts for 18 months, but the ban on cycling is expected to come to an end on Friday, August 28.
According to the council’s public notice, published on Thursday, April 16, the order effects:
Centurion Way for the full extent
Pennymoor Drive from the Centurion Way Roundabout to its limit
White Park Close from the Centurion Way Roundabout to its limit
Holmes Chapel Road for Holmes Chapel Road Roundabout to its limit
